News from the Rector

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Msgr. Charles Fink will be taking on the role of Rector-President of the Seminary.  Many know Msgr. Fink from his years here as Spiritual Director. Msgr. Fink will provide a spiritually rooted priestly presence that is essential for maintaining our Catholic identity.  He will begin at the end of June when his assignment at Our Lady of the Snows in Blue Point comes to a conclusion.

I am also very pleased to announce that Deacon Art Candido will be taking on the role of Director of Diaconate Formation.  He will take on the diaconate formation piece in addition to the responsibilities he already has in human resources at the Diocese.

Father Jason Grisafi, Pastor of St. Joseph’s in Babylon, will also be taking on the Director of Ecumenical/Inter-Religious Affairs piece so that will no longer be housed at the seminary.

Let us pray for all of these men as they take on their new responsibilities and welcome them as we welcome everyone, as if they were Christ.  God bless.
